United in Compassion

About United in Compassion

United in Compassion represents the combined efforts of faith-based, civic, and government organizations to serve our community. In response to the COVID 19 pandemic, our community worked together with our county’s emergency response team to distribute USDA boxes to nearly 1000 families per week. When those boxes ended our combined faith centers raised over $50,000 to purchase produce to continue fighting hunger in our community. For years, this ministry has provided food, hygiene package, generators for disaster relief, and other services necessary to bring health, wholeness, and hope to our world. In June 2020, 3,200 individual chicken parmesan meals prepared by an executive chef were distributed in Melbourne.
